Dubai’s RTA (Road and Transport Authority), in collaboration with the Department of Economy and Tourism, has issued a new Executive Regulation that governs tourist transport activity in the Emirates.
This regulation was enacted under the Administrative regulating tourists Decision No. (97) of 2025, that pursuant to Executive Council Resolution No. (107) of 2024 regulating the tourist transport activity in Dubai.
The initiative is aimed towards establishing an integrated tourist transport system that reinforces Dubai’s positioning as a leading local and global destination. Seeking to enhance the services quality, to improve comfort and safety standards for the tourists, and regulating the sector in parallel with the highest international practices.

The development is a reflection towards Dubai’s commitment towards advancing the quality of tourism and transport services that provides a premium quality safe travel experience, reaffirming the emirate’s position as a global tourism capital.
Concerned entities of the RTA are continuing to develop the services that are developing effective solutions for the tourism transport sector. The efforts are also designed to meet the emirate’s aspirations and ambition while at the same time advancing the strategic objectives for this important sector, that remains a key pillar of Dubai’s economic growth and development across all fields.

This new regulation is set to raise the service standards and enhancing the overall experience of the tourists in Dubai, at the same time generating tangible benefits for all the companies and the institutions currently operating in the crucial sector.
