Ru’ya, Careers UAE, the UAE’s top career exhibition and empowerment platform for Emirati youth, will launch its 24th edition tomorrow (September 23) at the Dubai World Trade Centre. The three-day event hosts 180 public and private sector entities to provide Emiratis with direct access to job openings, life-changing workshops, and skill-building experiences to prepare them for the future of work.
Capitalizing on its track record, Ru’ya retains its crucial position within the UAE’s Emiratisation policy and youth empowerment initiatives. The program is geared towards aligning with national policy goals such as 8% of the private sector being Emiratis by the close of 2025 and the 125,000 Nationals in the private sector as of last June.
Ru’ya welcomed 150 exhibitors and conducted 7,000 on-site interviews in 2024, reinforcing its position as a pillar of the UAE’s human capital development. This year, attendees will engage with top employers like DEWA, RTA, HQ Police, ADCB, Amazon, PwC, Emirates, and Majid Al Futtaim.
The event also collaborates closely with government stakeholders like the Dubai Government Human Resources Department, the Emirati Human Resources Development Council, the Ministry of Education, and the KHDA so that each aspect of the programme serves the national talent agenda.
