His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, President of the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority, Chairman of Dubai Airports, and Chairman and Chief Executive of Emirates Airline and Group, at the Dubai World Trade Centre officially opened ISM Middle East and Private Label Middle East, two of the region’s most influential trade events, and the biggest editions to date.

As the confectionery and snack sales across Asia Pacific, Middle East and Africa (APMEA) region race for a projected $389.8 billion figure by the end of this year, and global private label market accelerates towards $2271.07 billion by 2023, the shows became the launchpad choice for the industry giants seizing the first-mover advantage.

The confluence of market dynamics has propelled the international reach of the ISM Middle East and Private Label Middle East. Popular global brands are in attendance, that includes Careem, Nestle, Dunkin, Nesto Group, Yandex, Grandiose Supermarket, Dubai Duty Free, Emirates Airlines and Noon as the companies pursue expanding the opportunities across the region’s high-growth markets.

ISM Middle East have opened their doors to three action-packed days that showcases the world’s most innovative sweet and snacks brands, highlighting the bold textures and flavours, with festive product lines and the latest in health-conscious and sustainable confectionery.

With a record-breaking international participation rate of 86% brought together over 700 exhibitors from 66 countries, showcasing more than 60,000 innovative products from leading names such as The Fini Group, Katrina Sweets, Terravita, Caffarel (Lindt & Sprüngli Group), Charbonnel & Walker, Maison Du Chocolat Cafe, Walker’s Nonsuch Toffees, The Belgian Chocolate Group and Yupi Indo Jelly Gum.
