His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, corroborated that the UAE, under President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan’s leadership, remains committed to keeping Emirati citizens at the forefront of national priorities to provide them with housing.
H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid stressed that proper housing is one of the strongest pillars of the stability of families and social cohesion, and therefore, the UAE continues to invest in building a sophisticated and high-tech housing system that meets citizens’ needs with the highest level of quality and within record time.

He stated, “The attention given by H.H. Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan to the housing sector shows an entrenched national strategy that seeks to promote community happiness and achieve dignified living for every citizen.”
He further added, “The ongoing development and intensive follow-up of the housing environment are a continued priority to see that citizens enjoy contemporary, high-standard housing solutions nationwide.
Specifically, the Zayed Housing Programme has approved 2,971 housing approvals between January and the end of the third quarter of 2025, with the value standing at AED2,069,200,000.

These approvals comprised 522 grants in pursuance of H.H. the UAE President’s directives totaling AED355 million. Besides this, 595 approvals were given for government housing loans collectively worth AED246.2 million, 24 approvals for government housing benefits or grants worth AED19 million, and 1,830 housing finance approvals totaling AED1.449 billion.
It is significant that the number of approvals given by the Zayed Housing Programme between July 2022 and September 2025 stood at 11,298 approvals valued at a total of nearly AED9 billion.
