Dubai to Welcome 25 New Private Education Institutions During 2025-26 Academic Year

Dubai’s private education sector keeps on growing with an impressive momentum, with 16 Early Childhood Centres (ECCs), six schools and three new international universities ready to welcome students during the 2025/26 academic year.  

These new institutions adds over 11700 new school seats and welcome over 2400 new enrollees in early childhood centres, providing the families with more options and strengthening Dubai’s reputation as a global destination for higher quality of education.  

The new schools are opening this year already including five UK curriculum schools 

  1. GRMS School of Research and Innovation in Sports City 
  1. Victory Heights Primary School in City of Arabia 
  1. Dubai British School Mira 
  1. Dubai English Speaking School in Academic City 
  1. Al Fanar School in Nad Al School in Mudon 

These new ECCs will offer a wide range of curriculum options that includes 11 that offers the Uk’s Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). Three that offers;  

  1. Creative Curriculum 
  1. One Montessori  
  1. One Maple Bear Curriculum 

They reflect the higher quality of early learning opportunities that the Dubai communities demand.  

Her Excellency Aisha Miran, Director General of KHDA said: “Dubai’s private education sector continues to grow in scale, quality, and diversity. The new schools, early childhood centres, and international universities opening this year demonstrate strong investor confidence in our city and align with the Education 33 strategy (E33) to ensure high-quality education for every learner at every stage.
