Chicken Shawarma Recipe
Shawarma chicken isa Middle Eastern plate served atop a classic dish of stacked chickenslices marinated on a rotisserie vertical, slowly cooked, and shavedinto thin pieces.

- 1.5–2 lbs boneless chicken thighs
- 3 tbsp plain yogurt
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 3-4 pcs garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tsp cumin, coriander, paprika
- ½ tsp cayenne (optional)
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
In a bowl, combine allmarinade ingredients. Add the chicken and coat thoroughly. Marinate for aminimum of 4 hours.
Pan fry, oven roast, orgrill the chicken until cooked through and charred.
Rest, slice very thinly.
Serve in a pita or bowlwith your preferred topping and sauce.
